New discoveries: Carahunge is 30 000 years old, news of the Byurakan Observatory․

10.07.2020 A sensational article of PhD, research associate in the department of Archaeoastronomy and Cultural Astronomy of Byurakan Observatory Hayk Malkhasyan, on the astronomical significance of Carahunge has been published in the "Communications", a scientific periodical of the Byurakan Astrophysical Observatory, where the age of its construction, calculated by mathematical methods, has resulted to be more than 30,000 years BC. Also, the connections of the astronomical complex with the Angegh constellation and Portasar ancient site are presented. As a result, Carahunge is the oldest astronomical structure in the world, the source of Armenian civilization. Bravo, Hayk Malkhasyan!
