On September 14, the members of the “Carahunge Armenological Cener” visited the Carahunge observatory once again.
Going to Carahunge is always a celebration. It involves stops at specific places, meetings and new acquaintances, wine, and of course, the long-awaited feeling of physical and spiritual harmony with the stones of Carahunge, arranged in a circle. Every time you approach, you can feel its mood...
This time we descended into the gorge, crossed the river with the intention of searching for and studying the caves in the rocks on the opposite side. From below, by the river, the rocky heights leading to Carahunge are alluring with their inaccessibility.
The structure gave us strength and optimism. We will return again and again, we are one with you, Carahunge, until we meet again.
